Around Greensboro, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across North Carolina are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

The staff here is very polite and knowledgeable. I was not a suitable candidate for the procedure I was evaluated for, and I appreciate that they told me that it wasn't worth doing versus doing it anyway and wasting my money.

I guess it’s my bad, but I am 99% sure I asked when setting up this appointment for a consultation if it was a free consultation or not. I am looking at very extensive dental work done. They knew I was coming from over an hour away when I made this appointment Only for them to tell me that it would be a $400 consultation when discussed on the phone it was free? Is it just me or is it pretty obvious they must not be very good dentist if they are that strapped for cash. $200 for an x-ray understandable $200 to talk to the dentist for 15 minutes? He’s desperate for money. That is an absolute unprofessional level of desperation I’ve ever heard of. If he can make over $5000 on my procedure in a day, but needs $200 to talk about it with me? I want a dentist who cares about my mouth, not about his overfilled pocketbook. Very unprofessional level of greed.

I had a crown lengthening procedure performed by Dr. Dunlevy March 5th. I have to say I was scared to death having never been there before or had anything like this type of procedure done, but Dr. Dunlevy and his assistant (and I'm sorry I don't remember her name) put me completely at ease. Dr. Dunlevy is very pleasant easy going and answers your questions. If you need a service provided by Parkway Periodontics, you cannot go wrong in choosing Dr. Dunlevy and his team. I highly recommend him.

Best Periodontist in Greensboro. I have been coming to get my busted grill fixed here since I knocked my three front teeth out in 1985. The business has changed names and faces over the last 40 years. I'd say Parkway Periodontics is currently in the best shape of its business life under Dr Monaghan's direction. A great attitude and quality performance has evolved into a new level of Periodontal care. Thanks to the team there for making me always feel safe and never scared, even in during the more complex proceedures.

I received exemplary care from Dr. Monaghan! She's not only excellent at her job, she also has great bedside manner. I previously had a terrible experience at another periodontic practice, and she gave me a night and day experience. She made the experience much less painful and helped me a lot managing my anxiety the day of my procedure. (I was relaxed enough that I almost fell asleep mid-procedure!). She made the entire process from first consultation to full recovery and follow-up easy. Everyone on the staff is kind and friendly as well! If I ever need periodontic care in the future, this is where I'll be going.
